Students have just recently finished their landscape paintings! They had to paint a landscape and incorporate texture by using different painting techniques. The paintings are on display in the front office, library, and the display case at the end of the art hall :) They look beautiful and once again I am one proud art teacher!

The Visual Arts Exploratory students studied how to draw faces using proportions and measurements. After practicing that in their sketchbooks, they were introduced to the expressive portrait style of Pablo Picasso. The students were able to chose whether they wanted to create a realistic portrait, or an expressive portrait inspired by Pablo Picasso. We are so impressed with how they turned out. They are now all hanging up in the Hallway outside the art room. All the bright colors look so awesome!
