When we think of paintings, we usually think them to be painted on Canvas. Well, when you don't have canvas, you have to get creative! So, instead we used cardboard boxes, tape, and gesso to make the 'canvases' for our animal paintings! Anyone can make these! You just need these materials:

instruction:
1. wrap cardboard with masking tape
2. paint gesso (1 layer is usually fine)
3. let dry

While the canvas was drying we drew our sketches for our Animal paintings...
Then we painted them in acrylic paint and let them dry! Here are some of the finished (plus some in progress) paintings!
